Now this is not the larger version humidifiers. You know the bulky ones that you fill with about a half gallon of water and then carry clumsily through the house. Well this one is a much smaller, scaled down version of that bulky humidifier. This one is not necessarily made to stay at the house, although you can use it at home (in a smaller bedroom, nursery, etc). This one is meant to travel to use in your car, in your office, etc. Although as mentioned before it can be used at home.
When ordering I chose the pink one, just because I like pink better than blue. But when I received it I opened it immediately to check it out. It came with the two piece humidifier and the USB power cord. Now you need a USB wall or car adapter to power this unit, which I have several here at home to choose from.
You fill the bottom half of the unit with 100ml of water (they recommend using sterile water) and place the top on. Now there is a small opening for one end of the USB plug to plug into the unit and then plug the other end into your USB power adapter. Then just press the button on the side to turn on, it will steam for a while and then automatically shut off. I am not sure just how long it stays on as I have not timed it. It's range is from 10-15 square meters which is equal to about one room in your home, or your office.
Once the unit is powered on it puts out quite an impressive amount of steam for such a small unit. None of us have been sick since I received it, but I am quite sure that when we do, this little unit will help soothe our cough and hopefully help us get through our sickness much quicker. I do like the fact that should we get sick and have to travel, then we have a mobile humidifier we can take with us without packing up that huge, bulky unit we normally use.
I have included pictures and a video to show the product details. This is a really nice unit. The only thing I could think that would improve the experience, not the unit would be some better detailed instructions. The instructions were provided were minimal. It would have been nice to have had the "ON" time noted to know how long the unit will stay on. But none of that effects the quality of the unit itself. I can't wait to put it to the test, well that would mean we would have to be sick, so Yes I can wait, but I am anxious to find out how well it works in comparison to the bigger units.
